Spooky Classics vs Nostalgic creations
💀Tis the Season of Night Frights and nothing nice.👻
I am one of those people who have decided Halloween deserves longer than one month of appreciation. Sure you can watch horror movies all year round but that is not nearly enough. Between the end of August and October thirty-first is when the best movies come to air.
The question is whether these movies are cult classics or goofy Halloween movies from our childhood. Personally, I have a fond love for multiple forms on both sides of the spectrum.
Any of the Halloween-town's are a must-watch especially when October rolls around. This goes along with any of the Monstober movies from Disney channel as well. These movies have become a tradition to watch along with my nieces every year. It is nice to watch something with them i used to watch when i was their age.
As a kid I used to watch this weird spooky Canadian sketch show called the Hilarious House of Frightenstien. It was a strange sketch almost type show from the 70's. Everyone was in bad makeup and costumes making them look like horribly drawn monsters.
On the other hand I enjoy the classic horror movies such as Scream or Nightmare on Elm Street. Every year my best friend and I will have a Scream Marathon to celebrate the start of Halloween season.
Whether you enjoy goofy children's spooky movies or the classic thrillers both are great ways to tie in the scary season. I personally can not choose one over the other.
👻What is your eerie season must-watch? 🦇
