Poke-pocalypse

 

November through Decemeber is one of the biggest times for Video Game drops. Often times the first two weeks of November the "Biggest" Games come out so they can be on every person's Christmas list. 

This year there is a huge hype around the remakes of the Pokemon game Pearl and Dimond. These are two DS games that came out in 2006. With Nintendo's newest gaming system being the Nintendo switch they decided to remake these two games. 

In essence, these are the exact same games as the ones created in 2006. However, there is a more cutesie art style (chibi). People are excited about the nostalgia of their childhood from these games.

Brilliant Peral and Shining Dimond are also the same game as one another. Yeah I know that sounds really weird and confusing. Like why would you need both games? This is the biggest aspect of the pokemon games. They tend to come out in unison and the differences are very slight. The main change between the two games ar the Pokemon you can encounter and catch. 

Getting both games is not the only way to get game exclusive pokemon. You can always trade with a friend who has the opposing game. 

Peral and Dimond remake is just the start of the pokemon hype this year. At the end of January, the Newest pokemon game is "Legends of Arceus". This game takes you back to the start of Pokemon catching and learning the history. This will be a new kind of pokemon game. Open world and free to discover.
